CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS UNIT
The Criminal Investigations division consists of three full-time Investigators who are tasked with researching and investigating crime of various scopes. Criminal Investigations assists other divisions in the department by assuming cases that are considered to be more time consuming and need more in-depth focus. These Investigators have the ability to work more closely with the victim(s) and spend more time seeking out witnesses and evidence, as well as uncovering the criminal suspect(s) who have violated our citizens. The mission of the Criminal Investigations division is to reveal the truth and bring justice to those victims whom have been affected by the cases we investigate.

TIPS TO REMEMBER WHEN YOU WITNESS A CRIME:
- Pay Special attention to the activity you are witnesing because even the smallest of details could be the most important.
- As soon as you can, write down everything you observed or remember - or use a cell phone to make a text note or message to yourself. You can also you a voice note recorder if your phone has that option.
- Call 911 immediately if the crime is in progress - or you may call the non-emergency line if the crime was committed previously and no one is injured due to the crime.
