Seneca PD Public Relations Event
Lt. Casey Bowling and Inv. Mike Teramano organized an event to go out to random areas within the City of Seneca today and pass out popsicles, gun safety information stickers, and junior police badges; this is an event that will carry through the Summer months each Friday in an effort to be visible to our Community, be approachable, and meet our Citizens whom we serve. Council woman Denise Rozman went along with us and visited with the children and assisted; there were approximately 10-12 of us that participated. One of the images attached is actually a shout-out from Facebook from one of the neighbors in an area we visited. So, watch out, the SPD Popsicle caravan may be coming to your community this Summer!!
Hello everyone! I would like to take a moment to inform you of
a great opportunity to help a fellow responder family in need.
As many of you may already be aware, Kayla Durham, wife of Michael Durham (Seneca Police Department), recently suffered from a serious medical event, called AVM, which left her hospitalized for a lengthy period. As a result, surgery was a must. I have attached a link below, which provides some insight on this condition. This now is being followed by a lengthy recovery process, and a financial burden for the Durham's. There are a few opportunities which have been made available to assist the Durham family. One of these opportunities is what I am presenting to you now. The image attached is a T-Shirt which has been designed in honor of Kayla. The funds raised will be presented to her and Michael, in order to offset some of the expense. These shirts are $15 each. Please consider purchasing one, or even multiple if you wish. If you wish to assist them by purchasing a shirt, please see the included list of representatives assisting from each respective department. We will need your name, the quantity you wish to purchase, as well as the sizes desired. Payment will be made to the representative listed. Also, please include which department you are with, as the shirts ordered will be delivered to the departments directly, once they are printed. A response will be needed by February 5, 2018 in order to facilitate ordering the necessary quantity. Thank you all in advance for your support for the Durham Family!
